Scholarly publishing is a connected sequence of technical and production activities — from journal concept and editorial workflow through typesetting, metadata and long-term hosting. GreyMind approaches it as one system that can be engaged in parts or as a whole.

GreyMind’s scholarly publishing services cover the technical and production side of running a journal: launching a new title, developing a reproducible LaTeX production system, building or configuring an editorial workflow, producing publication-ready articles, preparing metadata, hosting and operating the journal, and migrating an existing journal to a modern architecture.

These are GreyMind services sold to journals, publishers, institutions and organizations. They are distinct from GreyMind Press, which is GreyMind’s own publishing initiative. A client journal remains the client’s journal: GreyMind supplies the technical infrastructure and production capability, not the editorial identity.

The model adapter is an interface, not a dependency. GreyMind’s workflow and production logic remain the controlled system; the underlying model can be selected and replaced without redesigning the publishing workflow.

The publishing workflow should remain a GreyMind-controlled system; the underlying AI model should remain replaceable.

AI interprets; deterministic systems render. Publication-critical output is produced by reproducible, deterministic software, with human review and accountability, so that a final PDF can be regenerated from controlled production source.
