GreyMind

Privacy Policy

Version 1.0.0 · Effective: 14 August 2026 · Last updated: 14 August 2026

1. Who we are

GreyMind Innovations Limited is a Nigerian technology company registered under RC 9766600.

For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, GreyMind Innovations Limited determines how personal information submitted directly to the company through its corporate website, corporate enquiries and GreyMind support channels is handled.

Public corporate location: Abuja, FCT, Nigeria

Corporate enquiries: admin@thegreymind.com

GreyMind App support and data-deletion requests: support@esangbedo.com

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the GreyMind Innovations Limited corporate website and to personal information submitted directly to GreyMind through the contact, support and data-deletion pathways described on this website.

It also describes relevant aspects of the GreyMind App where the website provides app support, privacy or data-deletion information.

Third-party websites, platforms and services linked from GreyMind operate under their own privacy terms and practices.

3. Information you choose to provide

When you contact GreyMind, the information you provide may include your name, email address, organization, telephone or messaging details if you choose to provide them, the subject of your enquiry, and the contents of your message.

Please do not send confidential, highly sensitive or proprietary information unless GreyMind has specifically agreed an appropriate channel for receiving it.

4. GreyMind App accounts

The current GreyMind App does not require or provide GreyMind user accounts.

Accordingly, GreyMind does not maintain an app-account database for the current version of the GreyMind App.

5. Website technical information

Like most websites, the infrastructure used to deliver the GreyMind website may process limited technical information necessary to respond to web requests, maintain security and diagnose operational problems.

Depending on the deployed hosting configuration, this may include information such as an IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested URL, request time, response status and similar technical log information.

GreyMind does not use this technical information to create advertising profiles.

6. Theme preference

The GreyMind website allows visitors to use a light theme, dark theme or their system theme.

If you make an explicit theme choice, the website stores that preference locally in your browser so that the choice can be remembered.

The theme preference is not intended to identify you, is not used for advertising or analytics, and is not sent to GreyMind as part of the theme feature itself.

You can reset the preference by choosing the system theme or clearing the relevant browser-site storage.

7. Analytics and advertising

The GreyMind corporate website does not currently use advertising trackers or non-essential analytics cookies.

If GreyMind introduces analytics or similar technologies in the future, the deployed configuration, this Privacy Policy, the Cookie & Storage Policy and any required consent controls must be updated before the new processing is enabled.

8. GreyMind App telemetry and device features

The GreyMind App includes optional technical features that may process limited app, device or usage information when the relevant feature is enabled.

Usage analytics

GreyMind App includes optional Firebase Analytics functionality to help understand how features of the app are used.

Analytics collection is disabled by default in the current GreyMind implementation and is enabled only after the user chooses to allow usage analytics through the app's privacy controls.

When enabled, analytics may include app-usage events such as interaction with categories, enquiry pathways, booking pathways and similar feature events.

GreyMind does not intentionally use this functionality for advertising profiling.

Crash reporting

GreyMind App also includes Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose application crashes and stability problems.

Crash reporting is disabled by default in the current GreyMind implementation and is enabled only after the relevant telemetry consent has been provided.

When enabled, crash reporting may process technical information associated with a crash, such as application state, stack traces, app/version information, device or operating-system information and technical installation identifiers used by the crash-reporting service.

Telemetry preference

The GreyMind App stores the user's telemetry preference locally on the device.

The current application storage key is: @greymind/telemetry_consent

This local preference is used to determine whether the optional analytics and crash-reporting functionality should be enabled.

Notifications

GreyMind App includes notification functionality.

Where notification permission is requested and the user chooses to enable notifications, technical notification identifiers or tokens may be processed as necessary to deliver notifications to the relevant device.

Users can control notification permission through the app/device settings available on their platform.

Remote content and update checks

GreyMind App may make network requests to retrieve current catalogue information, app-update information or other remote configuration used to keep relevant app content current.

Like ordinary internet requests, these interactions may result in technical request information being processed by the relevant hosting or network infrastructure.

In-app enquiries

Where a user initiates an enquiry, booking request or other contact pathway through GreyMind App, the information the user chooses to provide is handled according to the relevant GreyMind contact and privacy practices described in this policy.

9. How we use information

GreyMind may use information submitted directly to the company to:

  • respond to enquiries;
  • provide product or technical support;
  • evaluate potential software, analytical or technology engagements;
  • handle requests relating to GreyMind Press;
  • process valid privacy or data-deletion requests;
  • maintain appropriate records of business communications;
  • protect the security and integrity of GreyMind systems;
  • comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.

10. Basis for handling personal information

The basis for handling personal information depends on the context.

Depending on the interaction, GreyMind may process information because you have asked the company to take steps or respond to an enquiry, because processing is necessary for an agreed service or relationship, because GreyMind has a legitimate and proportionate business or security interest, because you have given consent where consent is appropriate, or because the company must comply with a legal obligation.

GreyMind will not rely on consent where another basis is actually being used merely to make processing appear optional.

11. Data minimization

GreyMind aims to request and retain only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant interaction.

Users are encouraged not to provide personal information that is unnecessary for their enquiry.

12. Retention

GreyMind does not intend to retain personal information indefinitely.

Routine enquiry and support correspondence should be reviewed periodically and removed when it is no longer reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received.

As an operational baseline, ordinary enquiry records should not normally be retained for more than 24 months after the last substantive interaction unless a longer period is reasonably required for an ongoing service relationship, contract, accounting requirement, legal obligation, security matter, dispute or legal claim.

Where a person makes a privacy or data-deletion request, GreyMind may retain a limited record showing that the request was received and handled where reasonably necessary for compliance, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

Technical hosting logs may be subject to the retention configuration and operational policies of the active hosting provider.

A locally stored website theme preference remains in the visitor's browser until it is changed, reset or cleared by the visitor or browser.

13. Sharing and service providers

GreyMind does not sell personal information submitted through its corporate contact or support channels.

Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to operate the website, deliver email or support communications, provide app distribution, maintain security or perform another service requested by GreyMind.

GreyMind aims to limit provider access to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

When a visitor chooses to follow a link to an independent third-party service, that provider's own privacy practices may apply to information processed by that service.

14. International processing

Some technology providers used to operate websites, email, software distribution or other digital services may process information outside Nigeria.

Where cross-border processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements, GreyMind will seek to use an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards for the relevant processing.

The specific providers actually in use are described or categorized in this policy and the Cookie & Storage Policy where relevant.

15. Security

GreyMind takes reasonable technical and organizational steps appropriate to the nature of the information being handled.

No internet transmission, email system, mobile application or website can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and this policy does not make such a guarantee.

16. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights relating to personal information about you, including rights to request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, to object to or seek restriction of certain processing.

Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing.

GreyMind may need enough information to verify that a request relates to the correct person before acting on it.

Privacy requests may be sent to: admin@thegreymind.com

GreyMind App data-deletion requests may be sent to: support@esangbedo.com

17. Questions and complaints

GreyMind encourages you to contact the company first if you have a question or concern about how your information has been handled.

You may also have the right to raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent data-protection authority where applicable.

18. Children

The GreyMind corporate website is not designed to solicit personal information from children.

If GreyMind later introduces a service specifically directed at children or knowingly processes children's personal data, the relevant privacy and consent arrangements must be reviewed before that processing begins.

19. Changes to this policy

GreyMind may update this Privacy Policy when its services, technology, data practices or legal obligations change.

The current version, effective date and last-updated date will be displayed on this page.
