GreyMind Press supports responsible research publication practices, including integrity, transparency and accountability. The policies below describe the intended standards for GreyMind Journal and are presented for demonstration purposes.
Peer Review Policy
Submissions are intended to undergo independent expert evaluation under a double-anonymous review model.
- Double-anonymous review: author and reviewer identities are concealed from one another.
- Reviewer confidentiality: reviewer identities and reports are treated as confidential.
- Editorial independence: editorial decisions are made independently of authors, funders and institutional interests.
- Reviewers are asked to declare conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.
Publication Ethics
The journal expects honest and transparent reporting of research conduct and results.
- Plagiarism: submitted work must be the authors’ own and all sources must be properly attributed.
- Fabrication: authors must not invent data, results or records.
- Falsification: authors must not manipulate or selectively report data to misrepresent findings.
- Conflicts of interest: all relevant competing interests must be declared.
AI Use Policy
Artificial intelligence tools may support the research process, but authors remain fully responsible for their submissions.
- Authors should disclose appropriate use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of their work.
- AI tools do not qualify for authorship.
- Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of all submitted content.
Open Access Policy
GreyMind Journal is intended to be published under an open-access model.
- Published content is intended to be freely available to readers.
- Authors retain rights consistent with the selected open-access licence.
- Licensing terms and copyright conditions are provided at the point of publication.
Corrections and Retractions
The journal maintains procedures for correcting or withdrawing the published record.
- Corrections: minor errors are addressed through a published correction notice.
- Withdrawal: works may be withdrawn prior to final publication where appropriate.
- Retraction: published works found to be unreliable are retracted with a clear statement of reason.
